For me, Education isn’t just the industry I serve; it is my lifelong motto.
I am a relentless student of the world. I’ve read over 300 books and counting because I believe that in business and engineering, the most dangerous place to be is not knowing what you don’t know. In my years as a Professional Engineer and an investor, I saw too many operators making high-stakes decisions in the dark; and honestly, I’ve been there myself. I’ve been “sold” a dream by agents/advisors/mentors/consultants/coaches who didn’t understand the technical risks or who have a different agenda than my best interest in mind.
But knowledge is only half the battle. I have a deep respect for the hard work and dedication it takes to build something of value. I have no patience for the “shortcut” culture or those who look to cut corners and hope things magically happen. In my experience, success is earned through grit. Only the lottery is earned by pure luck.
I don’t want to be the person who just “handles it” for you or pushes you toward a shortcut you don’t understand. I want to be the partner who shines a light into the corners of a transaction, identifies the “unknown unknowns,” and ensures you are fully equipped to build a successful future. Whether I’m writing a technical book, mentoring students through the 10X Hub, gathering the collective knowledge for The Operator Journey, or vetting a commercial site, my goal is the same: To replace uncertainty with knowledge and effort.
